Michael Chandler has some “scheming” with Machine Gun Kelly ahead of his long-awaited fight with Conor McGregor.
On Saturday, June 29, the Irish megastar will return to the Octagon for the first time in nearly three years as the headliner at UFC 303 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. 'Iron', who is just weeks away from scrapping, appears to be playing mind games with McGregor after posting a photo with Grammy-nominated artist Machine Gun Kelly.
McGregor and MGK (real name Colson Baker) nearly threw up their hands during a brief exchange at the 2021 MTV Music Awards. To this day, no one knows what caused the near-brawl, but rumors quickly circulated that it was the result of hostility. The incident involved McGregor allegedly sending a direct message to Kelly's girlfriend, actress Megan Fox.
However, McGregor's representatives denied the story.
Recently, Chandler posted a photo of himself with Kelly, which clearly felt like a criticism of McGregor.
“63 days… plotting with @machinegunkelly” Chandler wrote about X.
Irishman spoke to Entertainment Tonight after Kelly chose not to comment on his exchange with McGregor. ”
“Absolutely nothing happened. I don't know. He showed up, but I don't know. I don't know the guy. Nothing happened to me, I'm a real fighter, people who actually fight. You know what I mean? Of course I don't fight the little vanilla boy rapper. I don't even know about the guy he's with Megan Fox. I don't know anything about him other than that.”
After the incident, McGregor rekindled his feud with MGK by commenting on a video of Kelly riding a skateboard on social media. “Watch out, there's some bad guys here.” McGregor wrote in a now-deleted post.
Conor McGregor isn't the only UFC fighter Machine Gun Kelly has had a bad experience with
It's certainly not the first time Machine Gun Kelly has clashed with the former MMA world champion. Sean Strickland, who was attending a Powerslap event over Super Bowl weekend, took issue with Kelly's attire, saying:dress like a shitty guy” and likened him to a vampire.
“I don't know who that guy is,” Strickland told the cameraman, exclaiming, “I'm easy to find, vampire guy.”
Strickland provided additional insight into the incident on his YouTube channel.
“I met some nice people. Cowboy.'' [Cerrone] was there.Looks like I met a vampire [the] The guy who dates Megan Fox,'' Strickland said of meeting MGK. “There were some Transformers with broken cars. I don't know what happened to Megan Fox, but something happened to Megan Fox.
“I don't know who did it, but I want to find him. I want to have a conversation with him, because me and you, we're not cool. I met someone who was like a vampire. , “Hey, you wake up every day dressed like a vampire.” I don't know if he does or not. Maybe just a wardrobe. But hey, you're dressed like a vampire guy. He looks like the goth kid from South Park. And you go out into the world in this way, just like this only happens because you are in an isolated bubble. ” (h/t LoudWire).
