Max Holloway defeated Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 in one of the most stunning knockouts in mixed martial arts history. Video has been released of how his corner reacted to that devastating knockout, and it was amazing.
Holloway and Gaethje fought five rounds on Saturday night for the iconic “BMF” title belt. Both men went back and forth throughout the contest, with Holloway gaining the upper hand.
Although he was high on the scorecards late in the final round, Holloway could have taken his chances and cruised to the end. Instead, with 10 seconds left, he pointed to the center of the octagon, urging Gaethje to stand up and trade haymakers to end the fight. The opponent responded, and both men swung up on their heels as the clock counted down. As the seconds expired, Holloway attacked Gaetje's jaw with his right hand, forcing Gaetje to a cold call with one second left.
