The Pacquiao vs. Ambo fight took place on July 28th at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture. Manny Pacquiao and Ambo Rukiya appeared in the co-main event in a three-round exhibition bout. The bout was broadcast live on pay-per-view on RIZIN.tv.

Round 1: The two men touch to begin. Pacquiao quickly takes to the center of the ring. It's almost comical how much bigger Ampo is. Ampo lands a long jab. Pacquiao works his way into the ring with a jab, but struggles to get hit with a long shot. Pacquiao dodges a right punch, but then gets hit with an uppercut. Ampo lands two jabs. Pacquiao is trying to figure out the distance early. A sneaky left punch from Ampo lands. Starting to do some damage under Pacquiao's right eye. Ampo goes for the body, drawing a smile from Pacquiao. Pacquiao attacks with vigor. A solid round for the underdog. MMA Fighting scored it 10-9 Anpo.
Round 2: Pacquiao looks focused heading into round two. Ampo continues to land long jabs. Pacquiao lands flurries, catching Ampo on the tail end of a right punch. Ampo presses forward, throws him against the ropes. They both settle in, Ampo continues to be aggressive. Ampo goes high, then low. Pacquiao lands a neat right counter. Things are heating up. Ampo goes high, then low again, then another punch to the liver. Pacquiao lands a body shot. Ampo lands three jabs. Pacquiao draws forward, but can't find a place to land flurries. Round 3: Anbo comes out with a jab. He seems surprised. They're both in the middle of the ring, throwing heavy punches. Anbo loves it. Anbo's overhand seems to hurt Pacquiao! Anbo is throwing punches recklessly! Pacquiao gets in a grapple. Anbo whiffs a combination, Pacquiao complains that his elbow missed. Anbo goes all out with a left punch, and it lands! Pacquiao looks hurt again. One minute left. Anbo throws a big uppercut, Pacquiao eats it. Pacquiao responds by attacking wildly. This is fun. Now they're throwing punches!
