Ferreira was determined to score a knockout on a card that featured a lot of decision wins. The Brazilian has a 100% finishing rate and this fight was no exception. “The Hulk” struggled with Stoltzfus' pressure in the opening minutes, but a spinning back elbow turned the tide in his favor.
After hurting his American opponent with an initial elbow strike, Ferreira went for the finish, pushing Stoltzfus back against the fence and landing another spinning elbow as Stoltzfus fought back. This time the elbow landed straight on and Stoltzfus collapsed against the side of the cage. Referee Jason Herzog quickly intervened.
In his post-fight interview, Ferreira stated that he is a skilled judoka and would like to test his judo against American wrestling in his bout with Beau Nickal. Nickal (6-0-0) last fought a relatively tough bout against Cody Brundage at UFC 300. Ferreira is at a higher level than Brundage and would be the perfect match for Nickal before he moves up the middleweight rankings.

Fans will just have to wait and see if Nickal responds, but it will surely be a great match for the American to silence any doubters.
