RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech has been selected to play in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional hosted by No. 5 Arkansas. This marks Louisiana Tech's 11th NCAA Tournament appearance and the Bulldogs' third NCAA Regional appearance in four years.
Louisiana Tech (45-17) will face Kansas State (32-24), Southeast Missouri (34-25) and Arkansas (43-14) in the Fayetteville Regional, where Arkansas is the No. 1 seed, followed by Louisiana Tech as the No. 2 seed, Kansas State as the No. 3 seed and Southeast Missouri as the No. 4 seed.
LA Tech, which is 45-16 this season, posted an 18-6 CUSA record and won the 2024 CUSA regular season title. The Diamond Dogs won 30 games at home, tying the home win record set in 1988 when Tech went 30-4. LA Tech's last appearance in the NCAA Regional was the 2022 Austin Regional, which featured appearances by Dallas Baptist, No. 9 Texas and Air Force.
The winner of the Fayetteville Regional will face the winner of the Charlottesville Regional in a best-of-three Super Regional June 7-9 or June 8-10.
