atlanta – The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) has announced that the popular event “Look Up Atlanta” will be suspended in 2024.
According to a press release, this decision was made due to a number of factors, including existing events on campus, new opportunities related to events, upcoming renovations to Centennial Olympic Park, and a desire to improve the experience for future participants. The decision was made after careful consideration of these factors.
Patrons who have already purchased tickets for the event scheduled for June 29th will receive a full refund through Look Up Atlanta's ticketing partner, Big Tickets. Refunds are automatically processed and reach the buyer within 7-10 business days.
“While we understand the disappointment this may cause, pausing our events in 2024 allows us to celebrate everything that makes Atlanta and the state of Georgia such a great place to call home and come back even stronger in 2025.” “We believe we can return with a strong commitment to the future,” said Executive Director Frank Poe. GWCCA. “We are grateful for the continued support from our participants, sponsors, and partners, and are excited to return with a new look in 2025, Look Up Atlanta.”
During this hiatus, GWCCA will continue to actively plan and prepare for future Look Up Atlanta events. Updates and announcements regarding the resumption of the event will be communicated through official channels and the event website.
