Geneva – Geneva-based air transport technology company SITA has signed a five-year contract extension with London Heathrow Airport to support the airport's expanding network infrastructure. The agreement will see SITA provide a range of network, communications and connectivity services, as well as introduce innovative new solutions to businesses operating within Heathrow.
SITA has signed a new contract with Heathrow Airport to manage and enhance its digital infrastructure, including maintaining a network of thousands of access switches, wireless points and telephone lines as the airport continues to expand.
Under the contract, SITA's local team will be responsible for new projects and provide ongoing support across network communications, cyber security, wireless and operational technology, as well as supporting Heathrow's internal and B2B commercial customers, and the airport's supply chain. The contract also aims to improve communications services for Heathrow's B2B clients, including airlines, ground handlers and retailers.
