The Paris 2024 Olympics have officially begun, with men's and women's soccer well underway thanks to an early start before the opening ceremony. If you're in a hurry to catch a match, look no further: here's everything you need to know about where to watch Olympic soccer, including free live streaming options.
This weekend marks the second day of the first round for the men's and women's teams. So far, the women's teams have won their opening matches: USA, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany and Spain. The men's teams have won: France, Japan, New Zealand, Morocco, Iraq and Spain. The matches between Mali vs. Israel and Egypt vs. the Dominican Republic ended 1-1 and 0-0, respectively.
At the Tokyo Olympics, the Brazilian men's team won the gold medal, but failed to qualify for this year's Olympics, opening the door for a new world No. 1 this year. The Canadian women's team won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, while Sweden won the silver and the United States won the bronze. The Brazilian men's team and the US women's team have the most overall Olympic soccer medals in their respective sports.

Where to watch Olympic soccer in the US
Peacock is the go-to site for all things Olympic, including soccer, in the US this summer. Subscriptions start at $7.99 per month and allow you to watch all the matches you want, with annual plans also available starting at $79.99 per year.
Peacock Premium (monthly plan)
Peacock is a great way to stream hit NBC TV shows, Universal movies, and select sports, including Sunday Night Football. Prices start at $8 per month, with additional discounts available on annual plans.
You can also watch Olympic coverage on NBC and USA, but with so many events happening at once and only two channels, you'll only be able to watch some of the soccer matches. If you don't mind missing games and want a more comprehensive cable alternative, try a live TV package like Sling or Fubo.
For $40 per month, Sling offers NBC (in some areas) and US (everywhere) through its Sling Blue subscription. New users can get their first month for just $15. Fubo, for $79.99 per month, offers NBC and extensive US coverage. New users can try the service free for one week.
Sling TV Subscription
If you want nothing but the essentials and nothing but the frills, Sling TV is the streaming service you're looking for. With more customizability than other plans, and three options to choose from, you only pay for what you need. New members get $25 off your first month.
Fubo Pro Plan
Fubo is a streaming service for sports fans. Its vast library of channels includes local and international sports leagues, setting it apart from the competition. You can add extra programming to your plan, but this will cost extra.

How to watch Olympic soccer from anywhere
If you'll be away from the country where your chosen streaming service is based during the featured match, you can still access the service by using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). A VPN allows you to temporarily change your device's virtual location, so you can access your favorite websites from anywhere. VPNs are especially popular among people who want to use their favorite apps while traveling and who want to increase their online privacy.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, we recommend ExpressVPN. It's beginner-friendly and has a 30-day money-back guarantee policy. For more information, check out our ExpressVPN review.
