ESPN+ & ESPN, 8:30pm ET – Main Card
Shakur Stevenson vs. Artyom Harutyunyan
Oshaquie Foster vs. Robson Conceição
Keyshawn Davis vs. Miguel Madueno
Abdullah Mason vs Luis Lebron
Main Event: Shakur Stevenson vs. Artem Harutyunyan
The main event between Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) and challenger Artyom Harutyunyan (13-1, 7 KOs) has generated keen interest from fans. It is the final fight under Top Rank contract for the self-proclaimed 27-year-old Shakur, who dreams of being sought after by other promoters as a free agent.
Shakur has to move away from his usual fencing fighting style and into something the fans will enjoy, because he can't put the fans to sleep and expect promoters to waste their time on a deal unless it's a short-term, one-fight deal with a marketable fighter.
Co-main event: Oshaquie Foster vs. Robson Conceição
In the quarterfinals, WBC super featherweight champion Oshaquie Foster (22-2, 12 KOs) will face 2016 Olympic gold medalist Robson Conceição (18-2-1, 9 KOs), who is likely coming off a one-loss record.
Conceição has been underdog in bouts against Oscar Valdes and Emmanuel Navarrete, appearing to win both bouts only to have the referee disallow him.
The only real loss on Conceição's record came against Shakur Stevenson, who was 1.6 pounds overweight and fought defensively throughout the bout in a much closer contest than the referee's wide score indicated in the New Jersey bout.
The 10-round bout will see lightweight contender Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 7 KOs) take on another increasingly confident opponent, Miguel Madueno (31-2, 28 KOs).
