Kansas State University football hosted its final four official June visitors in the 2025 freshman recruiting cycle over the weekend, before beginning a month-long hiatus without new signings on Monday.
Still, it's been a productive month for coach Chris Klieman and his staff, with seven new players already on the roster and perhaps the biggest prize yet to come. Now, all eyes are on the Wildcats' top target, five-star tight end Rincon Cure of Goodland, who made the last of his four official visits to Manhattan over the weekend, following finalists Kansas, Texas A&M and Oregon.
Cure said last month, prior to his official visit, that he plans to make a decision before his senior season at Goodland High School.
Of K-State's 10 most recent signings, the latest four are all fall defensive players, including two linebackers, a cornerback and a safety. All four are rated three-stars by both 247Sports and On3.

The linebackers are Sawyer Silke of Kearney, Nebraska, who signed on June 14, just one week after receiving an offer from the Wildcats, and Maguire Richman of Blue Valley High School. Richman visited Manhattan the weekend of June 14 and signed five days later.
Silke, who is ranked No. 13 in the state of Nebraska in the class of 2025, chose Kansas State over offers from North Dakota State and Northern Illinois University, while Richman visited both the University of Tulsa and the University of Memphis and received an offer from the University of Iowa.
The most decorated of the four was cornerback JoJo Scott, a Lakeland, Fla., native who also began his official visit on June 14 and committed two days later. Kansas State not only had wins over Big 12 rivals Kansas, Iowa State and West Virginia, but also held offers from Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Carolina State and Louisville, among others.
Dominique Mitchell, a safety from Phoenix, was another visitor who chose the Wildcats on June 14 and announced his decision on June 19. Among his offers were the Military Academy, Princeton and Connecticut.

Kansas State made every effort to recruit Cure, including a golf trip last weekend with starting quarterback Avery Johnson, head coach Klieman and associate head coach and co-offensive coordinator Matt Wells. Johnson also posted photos on social media of Cure and recent Colorado transfer Dylan Edwards, potentially bringing together three of Kansas' most highly-touted freshmen in the 2023 and '25 classes.
Among the 2025 visitors from last weekend who have yet to announce their intentions are offensive lineman Keaton Jones of Coffeyville, defensive tackle Cade Pietraszak of West Fargo, North Dakota, and running back Monterio Elston of Little Rock, Arkansas.
