On Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers ended their season with a 118-115 loss to the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the first round of their playoff series.
The 76ers have a very talented roster, but they continue to fall short in the NBA playoffs.
They haven't won an NBA championship since the 1982-83 season, when Hall of Famer Julius Erving was on the roster.
After the 76ers lost to the Knicks, Irving post on X (Saturday).

The 76ers had the potential to be the best team in the league, but suffered a number of injuries during the regular season.

In 2023, the 76ers made it to the second round, but lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in seven games.
They will have an interesting offseason as the front office needs to find the right players to surround All-Stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
