“That being said, I wouldn't mind smashing his fist in the face and breaking his eye socket for a nice paycheck. Nobody likes the guy, so I'm just being super nice to everyone.”
“I don't care if I destroy him and the empire he built,” he concluded. “I'm not here for an exhibition match.
Like Sonnen, Masvidal will likely step in the ring sooner rather than later, with the 39-year-old getting a rematch. Nate Diaz The bout will take place in Anaheim, California on July 6, 2024. It won't be Masvidal's boxing debut like the Sonnen-Silva bout, but ultimately, the two former UFC title challengers are preparing for a potential clash.
“After I knock out Nate, if I get some time this year, I wouldn't mind beating up the goddamn Chael,” Masvidal said. “He doesn't want to cut weight, so he'll probably be at super heavyweight.”
