Jorge Masvidal is the heavy betting favorite to defeat Nate Diaz in their June 1 boxing match.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Diaz and Masvidal will box at 175 pounds on June 1st at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. This event will be on his Fanmio pay-per-view for $79.99, and he has an early bird price of $49.99 available until April 12th.
When announcing the boxing match, Jorge Masvidal was fully confident that he would defeat Nate Diaz again. Of course, both men fought back at UFC 244 in November 2019, with Masvidal winning via doctor stoppage.
“Nate is walking like a dead man,” Jorge Masvidal said in a statement about Nate Diaz. “I can't wait to prove that last time wasn't a fluke. He was saved by the referee. Now we're boxing. He says he's good at it, but I There's no way to win. I'm not going to even allow him to breathe in that ring. If he thinks our MMA match was bad, it's going to get even worse. Drown him. I'll let him go. I want to forget all the talk about him and me being the same, and about the referee saving the day. It all ends on June 1st. Violence and hand-throwing are in our blood. Now, following the announced matches, odds Jorge Masvidal was released for the bout where he is considered a strong betting favorite to defeat Nate Diaz.
