Jon Jones has responded after being criticized again by interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall at UFC 304.
Aspinall (15-3 MMA), co-headlined Saturday night's pay-per-view event in Manchester, England, won by TKO in 60 seconds against Curtis Blaydes (18-5 MMA) to successfully defend the promotion's interim heavyweight title.
The win marked the third consecutive first-round finish for the 31-year-old Briton, who previously defeated Sergey Pavlovic in just 69 seconds at UFC 295 and Marcin Tybura in just 73 seconds in July 2023.
Tom Aspinall had a message for Jon Jones in his post-fight interview after his impressive performance.
“John is the undisputed champion, but I'm the best in the world. Does that make sense? I know what John is doing. John had his fingers and toes crossed tonight hoping that I would lose to Curtis…let's not lie about that. He posted multiple times that I was going to lose to him anyway. It didn't happen, so that's the fight I want next.”
“Bones” did not immediately respond to Aspinall's challenge, butX' On Sunday I sent the following message:
Supply and demand is at its best. I love it.

“Supply and demand is at its best. I love it.”
Jon Jones is set to make his return to the Octagon at UFC 309 on November 9 at Madison Square Garden in a highly anticipated showdown with former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
UFC CEO Dana White wants Tom Aspinall to serve as the backup for the Jones vs. Miocic fight, but “Honey Badger” has other ideas for the November pay-per-view event.
“Here's an idea. I was thinking about this the other day. Stipe and Jon Jones are fighting in November at MSG, so what if we did a tournament? A full-on tournament, Jon vs. Stipe and me vs. Alex. Two fights in one night and we'll see who's the true heavyweight champion of the world?”
Do you think we'll ever see Jones and Aspinall collide inside the Octagon? Who do you think would win?
