Through a cooperation agreement with the World Mixed Martial Arts Association (GAMMA), the Johan Cruyff Institute will provide educational opportunities for participants and enhance talent development in the field of mixed martial arts.
The Johan Cruyff Institute and the World Mixed Martial Arts Association (GAMMA) have signed a cooperation agreement that highlights their mutual commitment to excellence in sports education and the promotion of mixed martial arts at an international level.
GAMMA is an international sports federation committed to the worldwide promotion and development of mixed martial arts. Its mission is to promote the growth of mixed martial arts as both a professional and amateur sport. To achieve this goal, it provides development opportunities for athletes, coaches and organizers.
The agreement lays out concrete initiatives for human resource development: the Johan Cruyff Institute will offer GAMMA employees and members discounts on academic programs such as master's degrees, postgraduate degrees and specialized courses. In addition, the agreement will foster the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two organizations. It also lays the foundations for cooperation between the two institutions in promoting activities and programs and organizing specialized webinars.
Through its agreement with the Johan Cruyff Institute, GAMMA will be able to raise the sport's profile and professionalism to a new level.
GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt highlighted the importance of this agreement in facilitating training for members.
“GAMMA's vision is to establish clear, comprehensive educational pathways that meet the diverse needs of MMA participants, actively enabling participation at all levels of the sport while fostering personal and professional advancement. We are pleased to partner with the Johan Cruyff Institute to further this vision and are proud to offer our members innovative educational programs and opportunities, including scholarships, internships and employment opportunities within the sport.”
