Joe Giudice is set to face Antonio Sabato Jr. in a celebrity boxing match in the Bahamas.
In a promotional video released exclusively by The US Sun, Antonio is seen training, hitting a boxing bag and occasionally talking to the camera about his next fight.
Meanwhile, in Joe's video, he talks about his “in great shape” opponent, who he calls “The Italian Stallion.”
The men, both 52, are scheduled to face off in the ring in the Bahamas in December, as Joe is barred from entering the United States due to his immigration status.
In the reality TV star's video, Joe explains that this isn't his first time promoting a fight with Celebrity Boxing, as events have been cancelled due to the pandemic.
“Now, I have an announcement to make, I’ve just signed a new deal with Celebrity Boxing and this time it’s official.
“Three years ago, everything was a bit chaotic because of COVID, but now it's official.
“It's happening, OK? My new opponent is Antonio Sabato Jr., who you might know from General Hospital, he's a Calvin Klein model, I don't know much about him, but this guy's in good shape,” Joe continues.
“The Italians call themselves the Italian Stallions.”
“It has begun! There will be a fierce wind, so please comb your hair.”
“Well, stay tuned. It's going to happen,” the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star concluded.
Meanwhile, Antonio's video begins with the actor casually mentioning that he just finished a four-hour workout.
“Well, Celebrity Boxing has arranged an opponent for me. His name is Joe Giudice. He wants to fight me.”
“I've got a fight in early December this year and then a bigger fight next year, so I'm feeling really good,” the former soap opera star told the camera in between punches.
“That's four hours of training done. Let's get started.”
He then donned sunglasses and criticised influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
“You've got to wear sunglasses. And by the way, Jake Paul, I know you train in sunglasses. I've been doing it since the '90s, so you're not the first person to train in sunglasses. A lot of the things you guys do, I've been doing for a long time.”
“See you soon. Best of luck,” the former model added at the end of the video.
According to a press release from Celebrity Boxing, the bout will be titled “Fight in the Bahamas” and is scheduled to take place in Nassau on December 7th.
A press conference will be held at Junkanoo Beach on August 31st.
Ready to fight!
Joe and Antonio have been sharing some of their training routines over the past few months.
Meanwhile, Joe gave an impressive clip of himself doing push-ups with his legs spread apart.
