Jefferson Parks and Rec U6 Soccer registration deadline approaches | Raccoon Valley Radio

The deadline to register for the youngest age group to participate in Greene County's growing sport is approaching later this week.

The U6 soccer program with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department will be held at Kelso Park from April 8th through May 6th on Mondays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. JPRD Assistant Director Nathan Krall said the 4- and 5-year-olds will learn the basics of the sport and play games against other teams in each one-hour session. The cost to attend is $20 for Greene County Community Center members and $25 for non-members. Krall talks about people wanting to become coaches.

“We're always looking for volunteers. We think we need one or two more coaches at the moment. And as an added bonus, if you'd like to help us with coaching, please sign up for an account here (in the community center). We'll give you a $10 credit.”
