Now that the first wave of NFL free agency has passed, let's take a closer look at our pre-draft fantasy football rankings for the 2024 NFL season. Before you know it, the rookies are on the team, and once summer rolls around and Independence Day rolls around, you're right back in fantasy football draft mode.
So if you don't start now, you'll soon fall behind. Start the 2024 fantasy football season on the right foot with our rankings. Of course, this is still early. This list will undergo a lot of changes in the coming months, as there is still a lot that is still unknown in the NFL world at large.
Early 2024 Fantasy Football Rankings — Top 100
1. Christian McCaffrey, SF (RB1)
Christian McCaffrey will be king for at least another year. In 2023, he averaged 5.4 yards per carry and scored 21 total touchdowns.
2. Tyreek Hill, Mir (WR1)
Tyreek Hill is 30 years old, but his speed is still as good as ever. He averages nearly 11 targets per game.
3. CeeDee Lamb, DAL (WR2)
In the second half of 2023 (Weeks 8-17), CeeDee Lamb caught 34% of all Dallas targets and had 315 more receiving yards than any other player.
4. Breece Hall, New York (RB2)
Breece Hall got off to a slow start in 2023 as he recovered from a torn ACL, but he was explosive on the ground and through the air throughout the season (74 receptions through Week 17). If the Jets improve their QB play, we should see more TDs in 2024.
5. Jamar Chase, CIN (WR3)
Ja'Marr Chase transcended QB play, scoring 28 more fantasy points in 2023 than expected. He will likely be as consistent as Joe Burrow, who returns next year.
6. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (WR4)
Amon-Ra St. Brown was the only non-QB to score at least 20 PPR fantasy points in all three rounds of the 2023 Fantasy Playoffs.
7. Bijan Robinson, ATL (RB3)
Bijan Robinson is getting the same buzz as he enters his second season with a new head coach, new offensive coordinator and new quarterback.
8. AJ Brown, PHI (WR5)
AJ Brown had six consecutive games with 125 or more receiving yards in 2023.

From waiver wire pickups to top 5 picks. Kyren Williams scored 15 touchdowns in 12 games and averaged over 112 yards from scrimmage per game.
