Jalen Brunson is reaching historic levels as the Knicks' leading scorer in the NBA playoffs.
DraftKings Sportsbook told the Post that Brunson's Game 2 point total (37.5 points as of Wednesday afternoon) is the second-highest playoff scoring total in DraftKings history.
The only time the total was higher was on May 2, 2021, when the Warriors without Klay Thompson faced the Grizzlies in a play-in game and Stephen Curry tallied a pregame total of 38.5 points (eventually (finished with 39 points).
Brunson's player prop projections are tied for the sixth-highest total pregame points in NBA history (since DraftKings began offering markets in 2016), including the regular season.
Brunson had exceeded his point total in five straight games entering Wednesday's game against the Pacers at Madison Square Garden.
His run began in Game 3 against the 76ers when he expected 28.5 points and easily cleared it with 39 points in a loss to Philadephia.
This was Brunson's lowest point total in this incredible five-game stretch, and he has since rattled off four games of 40 points or more.
DraftKings told the Post that Brunson's player prop over is 11-3 since the beginning of April, an incredible track record for the Knicks superstar.
Interestingly, Brunson Under 37.5 is the most bet player prop (-120) on DraftKings among the entire NBA prop market.
Bettors think this is getting out of control, but is it really?
