The undercard for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry fight on July 20 has been announced. One bout remains the same from the original card for that day, but the others have been swapped out.
Here's an overview of the cards so far:
- As previously reported, Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) in a 140-pound tune-up bout. Stevie Morgan (14-1, 13 KOs), a 35-year-old Tampa resident. This is all to keep the 35-year-old Serrano busy and in shape for her Nov. 15 rematch with Katie Taylor, this time for Taylor's undisputed super lightweight championship. In a way, this may all be working in Serrano's favor, as she'll have extra time to perform as best as she can at 140 pounds.
- Ashton “H2O” Silve (11-0, 9 KOs) will face Lucas Buddy (16-0, 14 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight bout. The 20-year-old Sylve, a top contender for MVP, was originally scheduled to face Golden Boy top contender Floyd Schofield on this date. This isn't much better. Buddy, 30, is a Canadian fighter who has primarily competed at the club level.
- Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Chavez (53-6-1, 34 KOs) is still on the card, but will face another former MMA fighter. Chavez was originally scheduled to face Darren Till. Julia Hall Chavez (1-0 boxing) won the sixth round in the cruiserweight division. The 38-year-old Chavez has not fought since late 2021 and is well past his prime. Hall, 39, made his professional boxing debut in October 2022, defeating former NFL star Le'Veon Bell, but boxing turned out to be Bell's weakness.
- Shadacia Green (13 wins, 1 loss, 11 knockouts) Natasha Spence Green (8-4-2, 6 KOs) in the eighth round of the super middleweight division. The 34-year-old Green was shown to be weak by Franchon Crews-Dezuin in December. The 38-year-old Spence is 0-2-1 in his last three fights and has only fought once since 2017.
The fight will be broadcast on DAZN pay-per-view from Amalie Arena in Tampa, and it's obviously going to be top-heavy, with either Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry or something else.
