Jake Paul may have to wait until November to fight Mike Tyson, but the “problem boy” is still gung ho about his bout on Saturday, July 20. The YouTuber will face mixed martial arts and bare-knuckle fighter Mike Perry in Tampa, Florida, in a bout that will be broadcast globally on DAZN PPV.
Paul (9-1) began his boxing career with an amateur win over Deji in 2018. He has had an impressive run at the professional level, winning six bouts by knockout. Five of his wins have come against former MMA fighters. He lost to real boxer Tommy Fury in 2023, but has since beaten Nate Diaz and two other boxers, Andre August and Ryan Borland.
Paul was scheduled to fight Tyson on July 20, but Tyson suffered a recurrence of his ulcer.
Perry went 14-8 in mixed martial arts, fighting his last fight for UFC in 2021, before switching to bare-knuckle boxing. “The King of Violence” found his home in boxing, going 5-0 with three knockout victories for Bare Knuckle FC. This will be Perry's second professional boxing fight and his first since 2015.

Perry, a veteran and wild card, believes he can stop Paul's momentum while capturing the world's attention.
“If he's pressuring me to get out of there, I'm gonna get him out of there fast,” Perry told TMZ. “When it comes to adrenaline and when it comes to the night of July 20th, I'm gonna be a problem for everybody on the planet.”
On the undercard, trailblazers will defend their belts in preparation for highly anticipated rematches, while young hopefuls look to showcase their skills.

Seven-division world champion Serrano (46-2-1) had her 28-fight winning streak ended by Katie Taylor in a close bout to determine the undisputed lightweight champion at the 2022 Fight of the Year. Since then, she has won four in a row, defeating Erica Cruz to become the undisputed featherweight champion. “The Real Deal” relinquished her WBC title due to the WBC's policy of limiting women's bouts to 12 rounds, three minutes each.
A win would give Serrano momentum ahead of her rematch with Taylor in November and give her the undisputed gold medal at super lightweight.
“I love going out there and throwing punches and stealing the show,” Serrano told Sports Illustrated. “The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry fight is going to be a particularly good one, but I'm going to steal the show.”

“She's ready to fight,” trainer Monyette Flowers told the Tampa Beacon, “so if that fight happens, there's going to be a part of Serrano in the ring and a part of Stevie in the ring.
