Jake Paul will face Mike Tyson in November in what will likely be his fateful showdown, but he'll also have to beat the unconventional Mike Perry on July 20. The fight in Tampa will be broadcast on DAZN.
Paul owes his rise to fame to Disney and YouTube, where he has used his platform to become a disruptive presence not only in the entertainment world but also in the world of boxing. He has a 9-1 record in the ring, primarily competing against mixed martial artists.
While Tyson changed his plans after his ulcer recurred, Paul, who is now attracting attention from critics and fans alike, is preparing for a different kind of challenge.
“People never expected me to be in the position I am in today,” Paul told Bloody Elbow. “They didn't know how much I truly need, want and love this sport behind the scenes. If you don't put barriers or limits on what you can achieve, the possibilities are endless. I want to test myself and step out into the bright lights.”
“All of this is a big risk,” he added. “I'm focused on July 20. I'm focused on Mike Perry. And having that mindset is what's going to get me the win.”

Perry fought in the UFC for years before making a name for himself in bare-knuckle fights. “Platinum” has a 5-0 record with three consecutive knockout wins in Bare Knuckle FC, and he’s ready to defy the odds and make Paul respect him.
Also on the card, unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano will face Stevie Morgan in a 10-round super lightweight bout. Serrano is close to a rematch with unbeaten 140-pound champion Katie Taylor on the Tyson vs. Paul card scheduled for November.
Former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will return to action for the first time since December 2021 when he faces former UFC fighter Uriah Hall, while 11-0 prospect Ashton Silve will move up a weight class to face fellow unbeaten Lucas Badi.
