It's official: Jake Paul will step into the boxing ring to face former UFC fighter and current bare-knuckle boxing star Mike Perry. The bout is scheduled for July 20th in Tampa, Florida, and it promises to be an exciting fight as Paul returns to the ring.
Paul was originally scheduled to fight boxing legend Mike Tyson on the same day, but due to Tyson's health issues, the bout was postponed to November 15. Eager to stay in action, Paul quickly switched opponents to Perry, recognizing the challenge and experience that Perry would bring ahead of the Tyson rematch.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Paul expressed his excitement for his upcoming bout with Perry:
“When the Paul vs. Tyson fight was rescheduled, I knew I wanted to fight on July 20th. There is no better opponent to prepare for the Tyson fight than Mike Perry. He is a KO artist and a madman in and out of the ring. It would be an amazing experience for Tyson. It will be a risk, but I love taking risks. Perry will try to beat me, but I'm Jake Paul and I fear no one. I will win and herald the Tyson fight.”

Mike Perry, known as the “King of Violence” in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), has been undefeated since leaving UFC in 2021. He has solidified his reputation as a fierce fighter with notable wins over fighters such as Michael Page, Luke Rockhold and Thiago Alves.
