Paul faced Diaz in a 185-pound boxing matchup in August. Paul won that fight by unanimous decision. Diaz and Masvidal are currently scheduled to meet in a 175-pound boxing contest on June 1st at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Diaz is no longer under contract with the UFC. However, Masvidal, who retired from MMA after his loss to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287 in April 2023, remains under contract with the promotion, which he spoke about in a recent interview with Morning Combat. talked about in conversation.
