Jackie Chan slams scammers
A major scam has come to light after legendary Hollywood actor Jackie Chan noticed it. After spotting a fake stunt camp that was also using his name, the Rush Hour 3 star took to social media to debate the issue with his fans.
According to a statement posted on Jackie Chan's personal Instagram account, the actor warned his followers: On Wednesday, July 3, the Karate Kid actor's social media account confirmed an official post by JC Group.
The statement said the group had recently enquired about the Jackie Chan Stunt Group and a fake course called “Jackie Chan Crash Course”. The course has been circulating on social media, but JC Group said, “Neither Jackie Chan nor the Jackie Chan Stunt Team have ever organised a 'Jackie Chan Crash Course' in the UK.”
It also said as a word of caution, it is important to be wary of “scammers and individuals/organizations” that may be operating in the name of Jackie Chan, his company or team. The statement was addressed to all the “concerned and cautious fans” who had written to verify the fraudulent martial arts and crash courses.
In a social media post, JC Group also said it would take action against any organisation that “violates” the names of Kung Fu Panda actors without permission.
