Indiana men's soccer head coach Todd Eagly announced the team's 2024 schedule this week.
The 18-game regular season features five teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, 11 teams that finished in the top 60 in the RPI rankings last fall, an expanded conference schedule, and 11 home games at Jerry Eagly Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Includes matches.
Season tickets are on sale now, allowing fans to watch every regular season home game for a one-time payment of $44 ($4 per game).
“2024 is going to be a wild season,” Eagly said. “UCLA and Washington bring a great pedigree to Big Ten men's soccer. In addition to a challenging conference schedule, we will once again tackle an exciting and difficult non-conference schedule.”
IU has welcomed 175,561 fans to The Building since 2017, making it the No. 1 fan in the country for this period. During that time, the Hoosiers boasted a home record of 68-6-10 (.869), won eight Big Ten Championships (five more than the next-best school), reached the NCAA College Cup four times and made the Sweet 16 seven times. Indiana begins the season on the road in a historic matchup featuring the two programs that have won the most NCAA Division I men's soccer championships. St. Louis, which has won 10 titles, will host the eight-time champion Hoosiers on August 23 at Hermann Stadium in St. Louis.
On Thursday, August 29th, IU hosts Notre Dame in its home opener, with a rematch of the 2023 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight set to be decided in a shootout. The Hoosiers will then host another team in the 2023 tournament at Yale on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Indiana will renew its annual meeting with Butler on Sept. 4 as Derby returns to Indianapolis. Another tournament team heads to The Bill on Monday, Sept. 9, as IU hosts Dayton.
The Hoosiers will play their Big Ten opener at Rutgers on Friday, Sept. 13, followed by their conference home opener against football rival Maryland a week later (Sept. 20). Sandwiched between those two games is a matchup against in-state foe Evansville on Tuesday (Sept. 17).
IU will play back-to-back conference contests at Ohio State (Sept. 27) and Wisconsin (Oct. 1) before a three-game homestand. The Hoosiers will host Big Ten newcomer Washington on Oct. 4, tournament team Kentucky on Oct. 8 and Penn State on Oct. 11, the latter of which will be a rematch of the 2023 Big Ten Tournament finals.
Penn State's contest is the first of five consecutive conference contests to be held at the end of October. IU will visit Ann Arbor, Michigan on Oct. 15 and host Michigan State that Friday (October 18). The Hoosiers will be preparing for a week-long road trip to face Big Ten upstart UCLA on October 25th in Los Angeles. The conference schedule concludes with a home game against Northwestern on October 29th.
The Hoosiers will not play on the final day of the Big Ten regular season (Nov. 3), but will host NCAA Division III opponent Trine on Nov. 1 for the fourth consecutive year.
IU has two exhibition games scheduled for the season. The Hoosiers are scheduled to play Bowling Green on Aug. 13 at the Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, Indiana, then play Louisville on Aug. 17. This game will be the first opportunity to see IU's 13 newcomers (four transfers, nine freshmen).

Tickets for the single match go on sale August 2nd. Indiana University faculty, staff and students receive free admission to home matches with a valid Crimson card.
