Real Madrid fans thought it would be the last time they would see Lionel Messi's iconic performance at the stadium.
Argentina strongman Lautaro Del Campo, better known as “La Cobra”, took part in a series of matches at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night.
The Twitch streamer entered the ring wearing an Argentina shirt with Messi's name on the back, but he didn't do anything to endear himself to the 85,000 home fans.
But that may be forgiven, as the former Barcelona man, who scored 26 goals against formidable Real Madrid during his 17-year tenure with the club, will play in Sunday night's Copa America final.
Whether it was brave or foolish, “La Cobra” decided to level up after beating fellow streamer Diego 'Guanyar' Iglesias at La Velada del Año 4.
Del Campo paused his post-match interview to hold his Barcelona top aloft.

The woman questioning him replied, “No, it's not,” and he showed a second Messi shirt in one of the stadium's four corners.
Messi did something similar in April 2017 after scoring a late goal against Real Madrid to seal a 3-2 victory for Barcelona.
The 37-year-old celebrated by removing his top to show the fans his name and shirt number, and seven years on, it remains one of El Clasico's truly unforgettable moments.
Del Campo's attempt to recreate the celebration received mixed reviews from fans in the stadium.
Some people found it funny and cheered and laughed, but others were not so happy.
Boos rang out around the legendary football stadium as the camera panned through the crowd to show countless people waving their middle fingers at the influencer.
“La Cobra” then took to Instagram to try and explain the reason for the celebration.
“We did what we had to do: win in one of the most important stadiums in the world,” he wrote alongside several photos from the match.
“Someone I idolized did it as a child, and that made me want to try it too. Thank you for always believing in me. Life is made of anecdotes. Today I'm going to tell you one of the most important anecdotes of my life.”
“I congratulate my rival ‘Guañal’ for stepping into the ring and training like an animal.
“Life is a beautiful adventure.”
