The Indianola boys soccer team lost 5-1 to Bonduran-Farrar on Saturday in a tournament at the Cowney Soccer Complex in Des Moines, but defeated Des Moines Christian 6-2 for a 1-1 victory. The Indians fell behind 3-1 in Game 1 and almost had a penalty kick, but the shot was saved and Indianola went into scramble mode, allowing the Blue Jays to score. In Game 2, the Indians dominated from the start, getting up early and holding the lead. Max Martinez scored three goals on the day, while Alan Martinez, Hunter Chittenden, Aiden Stafford and Anson Miller each had one goal. Indianola is currently 3-6 on the season and will next play against Pella on Tuesday.
