But one fighter in the prelims will capture the attention of both longtime and casual UFC fans – many of whom will want him to win the fight.
The fighter in question is none other than Octagon mainstay Jim Miller, who at the ripe old age of 40 will be pitching alongside fellow veteran Bobby Green.
Fan-favorite Miller (the younger brother of fellow MMA fighter Dunn) made his Octagon debut in October 2008.
During his nearly 16 years in the UFC, Miller has fought some of the best in the lightweight division, exchanging blows with the likes of Dustin Poirier, Charles Oliveira, and Nate Diaz, to name a few.
Throughout his tenure in the UFC, the American fighter has largely battle at history of promotion.

But no one will be able to match Miller's accomplishments when facing Green.
As soon as the referee waves to the pair, Miller will be the only one to compete in UFC 100, 200 and 300.
The New Jersey native faced retired Mac Danzig at UFC 100 and raised his hand with a unanimous decision victory.
But seven years later, he put his hand up in double quick time when he knocked out Japanese mixed martial arts legend Takanori Gomi in 2 minutes and 20 seconds at UFC 200.
Miller heads into UFC 300 with his best performance ever, winning five of his past six fights.
It's unclear whether this weekend's card will mark the end of his illustrious career, but it's clear he commands tremendous respect from his colleagues and fans alike.
He told UFC commentator Brendan Fitzgerald:
It's great that you've been able to leave your mark on the sports world. I wish the mark I left was bigger, but I know it was the right path.

“It makes me proud and it makes me happy. Sometimes I feel like, oh, they're throwing punches at each other.
“As Dana White said, he doesn't care about the words that are exchanged, and I agree with that 100 percent.

“My kids are watching everything I do. They're watching it, and they're watching me do it. interviewall these.
“For them, and for the other kids watching, I feel like I have a weight on my shoulders…I have to carry myself in a certain way.”
