Throughout April, we will witness the story of global boxing unfold with a sporting calendar that rivals any other international federation on the world stage. The first Champions Night of the month takes place tonight in Mexico, offering an exciting fight card full of action-packed boxers looking to showcase their credentials at the IBA's premier event. The event has a hefty six-figure prize pool, giving both current amateurs and former IBA pros the opportunity to win big prizes.
The first Mandela Africa Continental Cup will be held from April 15th to 21st, moving from Mexico to Durban, South Africa. The long-awaited tournament in close cooperation with AFBC. The event will see around 370 boxers converge on the city of Durban to once again compete for a continental spot that will qualify them for the IBA Global Boxing Cup at the end of the year. The total prize money at stake in this inaugural event, named after Nelson Mandela, is his US$500,000. IBA is delighted to announce our partnership with the amazing Tembekir Mandela Foundation. The celebrations are particularly important as the inaugural Mandela Africa Boxing Cup coincides with South Africa's 30th anniversary of freedom and democracy since its historic elections on 27 April 1994. be.

The IBA begins May with an exciting start to the month with the inaugural Champions Night showcase in Madrid. World and Olympic medalists will perform to move closer to the IBA world title belt.
