Wednesday, March 27th
ProBox TV and Freevee, 8pm ET, Joseph Adorno vs. Nicholas Walters
- Yes, that Nicholas Walters. He is the one who disappeared in 2016 after becoming depressed by Vasily Lomachenko. He returned in early 2023 and had two fights in Colombia last year, weighing 140-148. You will remember that in his prime he was a 126/130 fighter. Adorno was pretty well known for losing to Elvis Rodriguez and Edwin de los Santos, but here he is naturally bigger and nearly 15 years younger. Walters is currently 38 years old.
Thursday, March 28th
DAZN, 9pm ET, Juan Carrillo vs. Quinton Rankin
- Sarita promo card from Detroit. Vladimir Shishkin hasn't continued to do anything interesting on this card, but Shozhakhon Ergashev seems to be bouncing back from losses and even more.
Friday, March 29th
ESPN+, 6pm ET, Oscar Valdez vs. Liam Wilson
- BLH has live updates and results. Although this is an ESPN+ exclusive, the “main card” will begin at approximately 10pm ET. There is no distinction between prelims and main cards. Seniesa Estrada and Jocasta Valle will compete for the undisputed 105-pound championship in the main support division, with the likes of Raymond Muratala, Richard Torres Jr. and Emiliano Vargas returning.
TrillerTV+, 7pm ET, BKFC 59: John Dodson vs. Dagoberto Aguero.
DAZN, 8pm ET, Elijah Pierce vs. Arthur Villanueva
- Returning to Overtime Boxing (OTX) on DAZN. An immersive fight night experience enhanced with a VIP lounge and bottle service.
Saturday, March 30th
DAZN, 3pm ET, Kurt Walker vs. James Beach Jr.
- Jamie Conran Promote's show at Belfast's Ulster Hall, a stunning historic venue. That's what cards are. Walker was an Olympian, but he's now 29 years old, hasn't shown much promise as a pro, and is competing against clearly better fighters than he's ever been. Beach was once a promising fighter, and while he has a bad temper, he loses to better fighters, and that's his career.
Prime Video, 6pm ET, Tszyu vs. Fundora Qualifier
- BLH has live updates and results. PBC usually distributes these content on YouTube as well, but let's take a look. Two fights: Elijah Garcia vs. Kyron Davis, which is not very good, and Serhiy Bokhatyuk vs. Brian Mendoza, which is okay and will fight for the 154 interim WBC belt. Because the vacant WBC belt – now here – is in between. Fundora was supposed to fight Tszyu and Bohachuk.
TrillerTV+ PPV, 7pm ET, Juan Zayas vs. Gabriel Bernardi.
- Also includes San Juan card: John Bauza vs Tito Morales and more. $14.99.
Prime Video PPV and PPV.com, 8pm ET, Tim Tzu vs. Sebastian Fundora
- BLH has live updates and results. The pay-per-view will cost $70 as Premier Boxing Champions holds its first card of 2024, the first since Showtime bid farewell to boxing in December. Of course, this match was supposed to be Thurman vs. Tszyu, but not surprisingly, Thurman got injured and the card had to be shuffled. Laurie Romero vs. Isaac Cruz, Erislandy Lara vs. Michael Zerafa, Julio Cesar Martinez vs. Angel Cordova — all world title fights will feature on the PPV undercard, as will the main event.
DAZN, 8pm ET, Arsen Gramilian vs. Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez
- BLH has live updates and results. If you don't want to pay $70 for Tszyu vs. Fundora — and believe me, I get it — yes, there's another show. The main event could be a good one. And we'll have a live post for you to talk about it. Gramilian will defend his WBA cruiserweight title in his first fight since the end of 2022, and for the second time since the end of 2019! Zurdo moved up to a “soft” cruiserweight division in a sense with his win over Joe Smith Jr. last October, but Gramillian is a legitimate cruiser in terms of size, so it's hard to see what Zurdo is capable of at that weight. We'll see more of what they have. The undercard card is pretty vague on paper, but perhaps you might be interested in Alexis Rocha vs. Fredrick Lawson.
Estrella TV and Freevee, 8pm ET, Luis Lopez vs. Jesús Rezendis.
- Show at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, promoted by Camponovo Sports. Eric Mondragon is on the cards, remember him? And what's his cool name?
Sunday March 31st
Note: Last I checked, DAZN's schedule still featured Matchroom's Proysfighter quarterfinals from Japan. It has been postponed.
Peacocks, 1pm ET, Fabio Wardley vs. Fraser Clarke.
- BLH has live updates and results. It will also be broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK. Wardley will defend his British and Commonwealth titles against Clark, both undefeated heavyweights, which on paper is a good fight. The rest of the card is solid for an event of this level: Florian Marc vs. Chris Kongo, Vidal Riley vs. Mikael Lawal, and Alen Babic returns, also beating Ben Whittaker in a previous match. He will dance and showboat against the type of opponent he will face. Professional debut.
