The NBA's annual Summer League kicked off this weekend in Las Vegas, but for now, all eyes are on the 2024 championship favorite Boston Celtics, who are currently 1-1 after a win over the Los Angeles Lakers, and star rookie Bronny James, who joined the team a month ago. During the 11-day tournament, 30 NBA teams, mostly made up of rookies and second-year players, will play four games each from July 12-19. From there, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, with two semifinals on July 21 and a final on July 22. The remaining 26 teams will play a fifth game on July 20 or 21.
This summer's tournament will feature some of the top 2024 draft picks, including Atlanta Hawks power forward Zachary Lisacher and Washington Wizards guard Alex Sarr, who were the first and second overall picks, respectively.
Matches will be played every day this week, with the complete schedule set through Friday, July 19. Semi-finals will be scheduled based on the weekend standings.
