HOLMEN — The Holmen High School girls soccer team had another big offensive day Saturday in a 4-2 conference loss to visiting Chippewa Falls.
The Vikings scored three goals in the second half, forcing the Cardinals to two points in a game that was tied at one at the end of the first half.
Senior Olivia Schneider had two goals and an assist on another for Holmen (2-0), which had nine goals in the first two games. Lydia Seider scored two goals, bringing her season total to five points.
Laura Kinder added an assist and Moira Lins had 10 saves for Holmen.

RIVER FALLS, Wis. — Senior Amaya Tesing scored in the 54th minute to lead the Hilltoppers (1-0) to a win over the Wildcats (2-1), who are ranked No. 10 in Division 2 by the state's coaches.

Stevens Point 3, Central 2
The River Hawks (1-1) couldn't dig themselves out of the 2-0 hole the Panthers had created, but they scored two of the final three goals in the game played at Swanson Field.
Sophomore Grace Wilkerson scored in the 59th minute and freshman Mae Yan scored in the 65th minute with an assist from Kate Heiderscheid.
For Central, Gianna Bujan made one save and Stevens Point's Amelia Castleburg allowed three goals.
