Hickory football stars Jamien Little and Brady Stover were invited to attend the Under Armour All-American Next Camp last week.
The camp, which opens May 12 in Charlotte, is invitation-only and will feature NFL Combine-style testing for elite football players. It is one of 14 Next camps being held in various locations around the country.
Last month, Little and Stover were also recognized for their outstanding performance at the Carolina Coaches Combine at the Shrine Bowl on April 21 at A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville. Little was named camp MVP and Stover received the leadership award. Demarion Lee and Isaiah Lackey also participated in the April 21 combine.
Juniors Stover and Little led Hickory to the 3A state football championship last season. As a quarterback, Stover threw for 3,876 yards and 47 touchdowns. Both scores were new school records. His passing yardage total ranks 30th nationally among high school players.
