Former Brazilian star Ronaldo recently met former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and showed off his weight transformation.
The 47-year-old Ronaldo was once one of the best soccer players in the world and remains regarded as one of the best players in the game to this day.
But after injury plagued him and brought an end to a hugely successful career in 2011 that saw him win the Ballon d'Or twice, he put on a lot of weight.
He weighed nearly 300 pounds at one point, but looked shockingly different now when he posed alongside Tyson last week.
Meanwhile, Tyson also continues to recover from a recent health scare and appeared to have lost some weight.
Tyson, who turns 58 at the end of this month, was originally scheduled to fight YouTuber Jake Paul (27), but the bout sparked controversy due to the significant age difference between the two fighters.
However, earlier this month, “Iron Mike” officially pulled out of the July 20 event after experiencing a health scare during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
The former unbeaten heavyweight champion suffered nausea and dizziness from a recurrence of an ulcer, requiring medical attention and paramedics treating him after the plane landed in Los Angeles.
That forced Tyson to postpone his showdown with the YouTuber-turned-fighter until Nov. 15, the date he hopes to be fit enough to compete in a professional bout again for the first time in nearly two decades.
He showed his brutal power in training before the postponement and appeared to be back in peak condition during his illustrious career.
But for the rescheduled bout to take place as planned, Tyson would have to be fully healthy and start from scratch.
The former world heavyweight champion has taken part in exhibition bouts since his retirement, most recently facing fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
