The 2024 NBA Draft is underway in Chicago, with participants looking to stake their claim to be selected in the upcoming draft.
Former UNC basketball player Harrison Ingram was also among this year's participants and had an impressive performance in his first scrimmage session.
As a member of Team Love, Ingram played just under 20 minutes and had 14 points and four rebounds. He made 3 of 5 3-point field goals and 3 of 4 free throws, which was definitely a plus for the former Tar Heel.
Unfortunately, Ingram's team lost 99-84, but he was one of the team's top performers. He had the second-best -3 plus-minus rating on the team, making him one of only three players to reach double-digit scoring.
Ingram wants to showcase his versatility, especially since his knockdown shot from long range will definitely help boost his NBA Draft stock. Tar Heel fans can attest to Ingram's athleticism and effort on both ends of the floor. He did a little bit of everything to help UNC win his basketball games during his only season on campus.
Sure, fans would love to see Ingram return to Chapel Hill to try again, but given the current situation, don't expect him to be active again. If Ingram can continue to train and scrimmage strongly over the next few weeks, he could potentially move into the late first round or early second round.
