McLean-based Golden Boot Soccer, a leader in youth soccer skill development and fun for nearly 30 years, is bringing its popular summer camp back to Arlington this summer.
Our half-day and full-day programs for ages 5 to 13 combine active professional trainers with engaging activities and challenges, and often feature a distinctive cognitive-technical approach.
“Cognitive training is a fancy way of saying training your body and brain together,” says Tamir Linhart, President and Founder of Golden Boots.
“Our specialized curriculum improves soccer intelligence, reaction time, decision-making, situational awareness and memory, while also developing technical skills such as passing, receiving, dribbling and finishing. Cognitive training is built into each Golden Boot session, using innovative and creative activities appropriate for each level.
This summer, parents can register for various Golden Boot Camps at Williamsburg Middle School during the weeks of July 22-26 and July 29-August 2 through the Arlington County Camp Catalog. “We plan our schedules with the children's needs in mind,” Linhart explains.
In addition to Arlington, the Golden Boot has additional camps planned in McLean, Vienna, Fairfax and Burke, including special camps for travel players, a VIP week featuring college and professional coaches, and a professional club in Italy.
