McLean-based Golden Boot Soccer has been a leader in youth soccer skill development and fun for nearly 30 years, and will be hosting more of its popular camps this summer.
Aimed at ages 3 to 13, these morning, half-day, and full-day programs combine active professional trainers with engaging activities and challenges, often featuring distinctive cognitive and technical skills. The approach is distinctive.
“Cognitive training is a fancy way of saying training your body and brain together,” says Tamir Linhart, President and Founder of Golden Boots.
“Our specialized curriculum improves soccer intelligence, reaction time, decision-making, situational awareness and memory, while also developing technical skills such as passing, receiving, dribbling and finishing. Cognitive training is built into each Golden Boot session, using innovative and creative activities appropriate for each level.
This summer, Golden Boot offers a variety of options for all ages and levels, including special camps for travel players, VIP weeks featuring college and pro coaches, and international weeks focused on Italian professional clubs. “We plan our schedules with the children's needs in mind,” Linhart explains.
