The pervasiveness of name, image and likeness rights has significantly transformed college sports, and college football in particular, creating opportunities for players to earn money in the non-league league and allowing organizations to play a major role not only in the money given to players, but also in the access allowed and provided to fans.
Georgia's NIL collective, Classic City Collective, is a forward-thinking collective that all Georgia fans support that dates back to the earliest days of the NIL path in college sports, and Classic City Collective has provided Georgia fans with a very unique opportunity.
University of Georgia football practices have been famously closed to the media and college fans alike since Kirby Smart took over as head coach and built a dynasty in Athens, save for a 15-minute viewing window. Currently, if you want to watch the Bulldogs practice, you have to be a top freshman or major supporter. Thanks to Classic City Collective, that's no longer the case.
Below is the letter from Classic City Collective.
