The 2025 Georgia football SEC schedule is officially set. Below is the official statement released by the Southeastern Conference.
Similar to the 2024 SEC football schedule, during the 2025 season, each team will play eight conference games plus one mandatory opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, or Major Independent. We will be competing against each other.
Each school will play the same opponents in 2025 as they were scheduled to play in 2024, with the venue being changed to ensure equal home and away games throughout the two seasons. The 2024 season will be the first time Oklahoma and Texas will play in the SEC.
“We continue to monitor changes across college sports related to future schedules,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said in a statement. “Continuing with the current format for the 2025 season will give us additional time to understand the impact of the changes happening around us as we determine the appropriate long-term plan for the SEC football schedule. Masu.”
