State Reps. Dan Ugaste (R-Geneva) and Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) will be hosting an outdoor kids' fair at Chapel Street Church, 3435 Keslinger Road in Geneva, on Saturday, June 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event will include free admission, refreshments and giveaways, according to a state news release.
Demonstrations will be provided by the Kane County Sheriff's Office K-9 Office, the Traveling World of Reptiles Show, DanceEncounter School of Dance and World Martial Arts Academy. A medical helicopter from Superior Air Ground Ambulance Service will also be on site from 10:30 a.m. to noon, according to the release.
According to a press release, children will be able to enjoy 24 different truck-related activities and there will also be a face painting corner.
According to the release, information will be provided on the Bright Start Savings Program, after-school programs, home firearm safety, parent support networks, internet safety, early education, 4-H, fire safety, home safety and the Soothe Space Sensory Room.
According to the announcement, the event will feature participation from more than 40 local businesses, state agencies, county departments, police departments, park districts, villages and cities.
