The martial arts head coach expressed his pride after his club won 42 medals at the British Championships.
16 members of Forres' DKMA (Dominic Karate Martial Arts) traveled to Newcastle for the EMTF (European Mu Duk Kwan Tan Sud Federation) Open.
The Moray Group won 14 gold medals, 16 silver medals, and 12 bronze medals.
Head coach Dominic Sutherland said the achievement was a result of the hard work and training of the players and the expertise of the coaches.
DKMA's star performer was Miles Wilson, who secured wins in seven divisions and earned the Junior Black Belt Grand Champion award. He was the only Scottish athlete to achieve this feat across all events.
Following the club's achievements, Master Dominic praised the players who played in England.
“I am extremely proud of each and every athlete. Their hard work, discipline and dedication have once again paid off with great results,” she said.
“This success is a testament to their talent and DKMA's supportive community.
“(The tournament) provided DKMA with an opportunity to prove their skills in a competitive arena and they did not disappoint.
“With an impressive medal haul and outstanding performances, DKMA has cemented itself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of martial arts and at the European Championships in Germany later this year.”
