Former Penn State men's hockey team captain Brandon Biro has signed a one-year, two-way, $775,000 contract with the Seattle Kraken. Announced Monday. Biro signed with the Buffalo Sabres as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and played four seasons with the team before heading west.
The 26-year-old forward appeared in six games for Buffalo last season and took just two shots, both of which were on goal.

During his time at Penn State, Biro was known as one of the best forwards in Nittany Lion history, as he played in 138 games as a four-time All-Star, finishing third all-time in assists with 75, ninth all-time in goals with 41 and fifth all-time in points with 116.
