Former Florida State defensive lineman Marvin Wilson recently helped the UFL's (United Football League) Birmingham Stallions win their third consecutive spring football title. The Stallions won the final two USFL championships before the league merged with the XFL to form the UFL.
The Stallions defeated the San Antonio Brammers 25-0, with Wilson recording the most tackles in the final game.

During the 2024 season, Marvin Wilson played in every game and recorded at least one tackle in every game. In total, the former FSU star recorded 23 tackles and one sack (two half sacks).
Wilson has had an interesting career. Despite being a likely first-day pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, he decided to return to Tallahassee for his senior year. However, things didn't go as planned during his 2020 season at Florida State.
Before the season even began, Wilson called out then-newly hired head coach Mike Norvell, saying he believed Norvell's comments to the media about how he had communicated with the team following the death of George Floyd were “lies.” The team's veteran and Norvell have reportedly reconciled.
Wilson played in just six games while battling injuries, but he did block three kicks, including two in the season opener against Georgia Tech. He recorded 17 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack last season.
Wilson signed with the Cleveland Browns after going undrafted, but is with the Philadelphia Eagles for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He appeared in two games and recorded seven tackles.
Despite his ups and downs, Marvin Wilson will always be known as a champion.
