Florida State University defensive tackle Braden Fisk ranked first in the 40-yard dash (4.78 seconds), broad jump (9 minutes, 9 seconds) and vertical jump (33.50 seconds) at the 2024 NFL Combine. After winning the combine, his draft stock skyrocketed. He was tied for first at his position in the 20-yard shuttle (4.37).

With several Seminoles drafted in the top 30 ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Fisk has garnered considerable interest from teams looking to improve their defense. One team eyeing the Michigan City, Ind., native is the Las Vegas Raiders, who reportedly took the 6-foot-4, 292-pound lineman for a top-30 spot.
Fisk spent five seasons at Western Michigan University before transferring to Florida State University. He recorded 43 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and six sacks during his only season in Tallahassee.
“The thing that stands out to me the most is the Raiders,” Fisk said of the Raiders' interest in him. “That's because you have Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins over there and the Raiders have the same style of play as coach Antonio Pierce. They go after it on defense and play with a different kind of culture. That's the way I play. That's a good fit.'' Plus, when you play next to guys like Crosby and Wilkins, they both fly to the ball, and that's a big part of my game. ”
Fisk will add another big body to the Raiders' front line, playing alongside Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins. He will also join former Seminole Janarius Robinson, who signed to the Raiders' active roster in December 2023.
The 2024 NFL Draft will be held April 25-27 and is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
