Las Vegas (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV Football second-year head coach Barry Odom With the Rebels' summer session in full swing, the team has welcomed six scholarship players to its current roster.

Sulka (6-foot-3, 215 pounds), a New York native, comes to Las Vegas after a stellar career as a center at Holy Cross in Massachusetts. An All-American, he graduated as the Crusaders' all-time leader in passing efficiency, second in career rushing yards with 3,582 yards and second in touchdowns on the ground with 38. His 5,916 passing yards rank fifth in Holy Cross history and his 59 total passing scores rank fifth. A two-time 2023 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, he was also named a finalist for the prestigious Walter Payton Award, presented to the top player in the nation at the FCS level. His senior campaign included setting the NCAA Division I record for rushing yards in a single game by a quarterback with 330 yards rushing against Lafayette.
Ware (6-foot-2, 195 pounds) is a veteran cover man who signed with the SEC's Missouri under Coach Odom after coming out of high school in Florida and spent the past two years at UCF. He's played 40 career games with the Tigers and Knights and will pursue a seventh year of eligibility this fall after not playing in 2023. He has 92 career tackles and caught his first career interception for a 59-yard touchdown at Florida in 2020.
Bradley (6-foot-4, 190 pounds) is a North Carolina native who signed with ACC-level Pittsburgh out of high school and spent last season with Charlotte. He reunites with UNLV's second-year offensive coordinator in Las Vegas. Brennan Marioncoached the Panthers receivers in 2021. Bradley played in 18 games over two seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, catching two touchdowns in one game against Georgia Tech.
Hessler (6-foot-4, 300 pounds) is a California native who transferred from Santa Barbara City College after earning all-conference honors as a sophomore. In 20 career games with the Vaqueros, he recorded 55 total tackles, nine quarterback sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss.
Scalise (6-foot-6, 310 pounds) is a California native and former junior college product. He spent last year at UTEP but did not play in a game for the Miners. He previously started at tackle for two seasons at Sierra College, helping the Wolverines' offense average more than 30 points per game in both seasons.
DeKambura (6-foot-0, 185 pounds) is a native of Hawaii who moved to Las Vegas and starred at national powerhouse Bishop Gorman High School. He was rated a four-star recruit as a senior with the Gaels in 2022 and was ranked among the top 250 players in the nation by ESPN. DeKambura signed with Oregon and redshirted last fall at the Pac-12 Conference school but opted to return to his adopted home with four years of eligibility remaining.
The Rebels will open their 57th football season on Aug. 31 against Big 12 Conference member Houston in the first of a school-record 11 games that will be televised on national television networks.
