Zamura24 (born March 30, 2000), appeared in 66 regular season games for the Flyers last season (2023-24), totaling 21 points (5 goals, 16 assists). He led Flyers defensemen in power play goals (2) and ranked third in goals, assists and points.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound blue lineman has appeared in 92 games and recorded 25 points (five goals, 20 rebounds) over four seasons with the Flyers (2020-24). He will make his NHL debut with New Jersey on April 27, 2021, earn his first NHL point at Tampa Bay on Oct. 18, 2022 and his first NHL goal on Oct. 17, 2023 against Vancouver.
Zamula was an undrafted player who signed an entry-level contract with the Flyers during training camp on September 20, 2018, and re-signed on a one-year contract on May 2, 2023.
Zamula spent three seasons with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, an American Hockey League affiliate, recording 54 points (five goals, 49 assists) in 127 games, before turning pro in the Western Hockey League (WHL) where he recorded 102 points (19 goals, 83 assists) in four seasons with Calgary and Regina.
A native of Chelyabinsk, Russia, Zamra represented his country at the 2020 Under-20 World Junior Championship, winning the silver medal with five points (two goals, three assists) in seven games. He was named a Top 3 player on the 2020 WJC Team. He competed at the 2018 Under-18 World Junior Championship, recording two points (one goal, one assist) in five games.
