BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech's Ricky Fedorchak was named to the USILA All-South Regional Team on Friday, May 17. Additionally, he was selected as a U.S. Lacrosse All-American by the magazine.
Fedorchak was selected as a USA Lacrosse National Honoree by magazine staff and contributors, with input from coaches and conferences across the country. Additionally, he was named to the USILA DII South Region second team by vote of the regional committee.
The West Friendship, Md., native caused 3.33 turnovers per game and 50 overall, finishing the season third overall in Division II and earning both honors for the first time in his collegiate career. He also led the team in ground balls with 46.
The graduate defender finished his career at Florida Tech ranked No. 1 in career turnovers in program history, averaging 3.33 of 50 turnovers per game in 15 games.
His eight turnovers against Embry-Riddle on April 6 tied a single-game program record. His 50 turnovers in a season rank him second most in a single season and fifth all-time. He had 46 ground balls, and his 2.93 ground balls per game is the seventh-most by a Panther player in program history.
Among other honors, Fedorchak was also named to the All-SSC First Team in April.
