Hunter Lee's professional mixed martial arts (MMA) record remains perfect, with Flynn Flonner coming off two consecutive wins last month.
Lee competed in his second professional bout on June 14 at Unified MMA 57 in Toronto. Fighting at a catchweight of 195 pounds, Lee faced Toronto's Dorjan Dokai. Dokai came into the bout with a professional record of 4 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. In his last bout before facing Lee, Dokai submitted his opponent via guillotine choke in less than 40 seconds.
Lee proved tougher than that, fighting to the end of the bout. After three five-minute rounds, there was no clear winner on the mat, so the decision was left to the judges. All three judges unanimously named Lee as the winner, improving his professional record to 2-0.
In his last professional fight, which took place at Unified MMA 44 in May 2022, Lee defeated fellow rookie fighter Christopher Bryan via three-round decision. Bryan has since won his next three bouts.
Lee has won all three times he has stepped into the Octagon in sanctioned mixed martial arts bouts as a light heavyweight, including his only debut fight as an amateur.
In addition to her budding mixed martial arts career, Lee is also a competitive amateur wrestler and is currently an alternate for Canada's national team for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. If selected, Lee would be the first Flynn Flonner to compete in a Summer Olympics.
Lee's winning list is long and extensive, including a bronze medal at the 2019 Junior World Championships, two gold medals at the Canadian University Championships, a gold medal at the Canada West Championships, a gold medal at the Canada Games and a silver and bronze medal at the Junior Pan American Championships. Along with his brother Carson, the Lee brothers formed one of the most dominant duos in Canadian university wrestling history.
Lee competed for Canada at the Pan American Games in Brazil last fall, winning a bronze medal just two weeks ago.
Flynn Fronner played for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies wrestling team for four years until his graduation in 2022, winning two national titles in his weight class.
