First round results, scores and schedule

The 2024 NBA Playoffs are in full swing, and the first weekend delivered much-needed excitement.

In Game 2 of the first round of the West Division playoff series, the Denver Nuggets pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 101-99 thanks to impressive performances from Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. I accomplished it. Jokic had 27 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists, and Murray hit a fadeaway jumper from 15 feet out as time expired to give the Nuggets a 2-0 series lead. However, after the game, some Lakers players, including LeBron James, criticized the referees.

In the Eastern Conference playoffs, the Philadelphia 76ers expressed dissatisfaction with the officiating in their first round series against the New York Knicks. A team spokesperson confirmed Tuesday that the 76ers plan to file a complaint with the NBA. The Knicks won both games at Madison Square Garden and lead the series 2-0.
